TRANS KALAHARI ROAD LINK PROVIDES A CONTINUOUS ROAD LINK FROM WALVIS BAY, THROUGH BOTSWANA TO GAUTEN, SOUTH AFRICA.

 

  • Trans-Kalahari Corridor is a tarred highway corridor that stretches over 1900km.  Provides a direct route from Walvis Bay through Botswana, to Johannesburg.  Commercial traffic clearance is between 20 to 30 minutes at the border points on the Corridor.
  • The Mamuno/Buitepos border post on the Trans-Kalahari Highway is open from 07:00 to 24:00 thus preventing holdups during border crossings.
